The criteria for evaluating literature review are as follows:




  1. Accuracy and dependability


The reference report that a research is surveying for literature must be accurate and dependable. The research finding of reference report must be valid.




  1. Suitability


The literature the research has extracted must be suitable to his or her topic. It must be consistent to his or her topic and provide strong foundation to his or her research.




  1. Scope and arrangements


The literation must be concise and accurate. It should be cover a wide array of scope making the entire literature vague and untidy. Moreover, arrangements are the most crucial matter.




  1. Author


It’s better to take literature from articiles published in renowned journals such as HBR, WSJ, and so on. Articles by famous personalities such as Peter Ducker is also high appreciated.




  1. Up-to-dateness


Literature that a researcher has extracted must not be outdated or too old. It’s better to search for new articles to remain up-to-date. The contemporary research articles will be best for literature review.




  1. Publisher


It’s better to have glance over publisher when searching for literature. Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard are regarded are the most reliable sources for literature review.

  1. Parametric test is the statistical test in which there is specific assumption regarding the population parameter. Non parametric test is the statistical test in which there is not specific assumption regarding the population parameter.

  2. Central of tendency used in parametric test is mean, which median is the central of tendency used in non-parametric test.

  3. Parametric test is based on normal distribution while parametric test is distribution free.

  4. In parametric test, information about population is completely known, but it is unknown in non-parametric test.

Semantic differential scale is a type of survey question where respondents are asked to rate their opinion on a linear scale between two points. Such as Good – Bad, Dislike – Like and so on.

Thematic analysis is the fundamental method used in qualitative analysis where a research seeks to identify a limited number of themes which adequately reflects the textual data. It focuses on generating descriptive themes and analytical themes.

Some of the major importance of Pilot Study are:




  1. Pilot study is actually the feasibility study, so it helps in determining how practical it is to conduct the research in the particular topic.

  2. The pilot study provides more insight to the researcher regarding his or her topic or focus area.

  3. Pilot study also contributes in maintaining validity of the research findings.

The weaknesses of cross section research are as follows:




  1. The data are gathered just once in order to answer research question.

  2. Associations between variables might be difficult to identified as being one shot study

  3. It is not suitable to be applied in business realm as the relationship between variables frequently changes in dynamic business environment.

  4. There is chance of biasness, low responses, and is difficult to measure the relationship among variables.
